The Miller Group is looking for a highly qualified Account Executive to serve as the primary liaison between our company and the clients we serve. This person will be responsible for developing and managing all sales operations and work directly with the marketing team and top level management. The ideal candidate will have experience in selling products or services to small business owners and can fully understand and identify client needs and offer solutions based off those needs.

General Responsibilities

  • Use outstanding communications skills combined with company and industry knowledge to articulate The Miller Group’s vision and strategy, while showing the true business value to existing and prospective clients
  • Consistently complete agreed upon sales activities with existing and prospective clients (calls, contacts, meetings, activities, quotes, need analysis, professional networking, etc)
  • Set and manage client expectations throughout the sales process and continuous follow up throughout the duration of their contract
  • Effectively utilize provided company tools and methodologies to manage client accounts
  • Constantly maintain knowledge of The Miller Group’s product and service offerings and relay new information to clients in an effective way
  • Proactively assess, clarify and validate customer needs through analysis of existing products/services to what is available in The Miller Group’s premium product/service catalog
  • Build and maintain close relationships with key decision makers to fully understand the needs and priorities of the business
  • Work collaboratively with marketing team to coordinate various sales activities (targeted mailings, telemarketing, marketing events, email campaigns, etc)
  • Ability to understand client business issues and needs to formulate recommended solutions that drive bottom line value for the client’s business
  • Develop and maintain sales pipeline to drive revenues

Qualifications and Skills

  • At least 3+ years of sales experience
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in an IT or business related field
  • Strong business acumen to explain and demonstrate how The Miller Group’s solutions can meet the business needs of prospective clients
  • Experience tracking and measuring sales opportunities
  • Familiarity with the IT industry desired
  • Excellent phone personality
  • Ability to open conversation with anyone
  • Effective presentation skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required
