The Miller Group is looking for a highly qualified Account Manager to serve as the primary liaison between our company and the clients we serve. This person will be responsible for developing and managing client relationships and work directly with the service department and top level management to ensure customer success. The ideal candidate will have experience in presenting products or services to small business owners and can fully understand and identify client needs and offer solutions based off those needs.

General Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary liaison between our clients and our company.
  • Proactively assess, clarify, and validate client needs through specific requests, ticket analysis and existing system overview.
  • Formulate and present recommended solutions that drive bottom line value for our clients through in-depth research and discovery of their existing business and technology
  • Set and manage client expectations
  • Effectively utilize provided company tools and processes to manage client accounts.
  • Build and maintain close relationships with key decision makers to fully understand the needs and priorities of their business to help them succeed.
  • Work collaboratively with the marketing and sales team to coordinate various sales activities (target mailings, telemarketing, marketing events, email campaigns, etc)
  • Constantly maintain knowledge on current product and service catalog

Education and/or Experience

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Business or IT related field; or 5 to ten years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Language Skills

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.  Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.  Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.

Mathematical Skills

Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.  Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.

Reasoning Ability

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.  Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

Computer Skills

Proficient in Microsoft Office, Type 50 WPM
